Once upon a time, there was a farmer who lived in a small village. He was a hard worker, and he always took good care of his land. But one day, a terrible storm came to the village. The wind blew so hard that it knocked down trees, and the rain came down so hard that it flooded the fields.
The farmer was worried. He didn’t know how he was going to save his crops. He prayed to God for help.
The next morning, the sun came out, and the rain stopped. The farmer went out to look at his fields. He was amazed to see that his crops were still standing. The storm had not damaged them at all.
The farmer knew that God had answered his prayer. He was so grateful. He went to church that Sunday and gave thanks to God for his blessings.
The farmer learned a valuable lesson that day. He learned that if he diligently seeks God with a heart of faith, God will reward him.
“The God who rules and reigns over all is the One who rewards those who seek Him. Let us long to seek God and find our reward in Him. In order to please God, we must believe that God exists.”
Hebrews 11:6
