85 – The Lost Sheep

A shepherd boy sat on a rock, watching his flock of sheep graze in the meadow. It was a beautiful day, and the boy was content. He loved his sheep, and they loved him.

Suddenly, the boy heard a cry. He jumped up and looked around. He saw one of his sheep had wandered away. The boy ran after the sheep, calling for it to come back.

The sheep ran faster, and the boy ran faster. The sheep was getting away! The boy was starting to panic.

Just when the boy thought he was going to lose the sheep, he saw a tree. The sheep ran under the tree, and the boy stopped running. He was out of breath, and he was starting to feel discouraged.

The boy sat down under the tree and looked at the sheep. The sheep was scared, and it was shaking. The boy knew he had to do something to calm the sheep down.

The boy took a deep breath and started to talk to the sheep. He told the sheep that he was safe, and that he would never let anything happen to it. The boy talked to the sheep for a long time, and eventually, the sheep calmed down.

The boy stood up and walked over to the sheep. He gently picked up the sheep and carried it back to the flock. The other sheep were happy to see the lost sheep, and they all started to bleat.

The boy smiled. He was glad that he had been able to save the lost sheep. He knew that God had helped him, and he was grateful.

The boy’s story is an inspiration to us all. It shows us that no matter how lost we may feel, God is always there for us. He will never let us go. We can always turn to God for help, and He will never fail us.

“My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.”

John 10:29
