A young man sat in the hospital waiting room, his head in his hands. His wife had just been diagnosed with cancer, and he didn’t know what to do. He felt lost and alone.
He closed his eyes and began to pray. “God,” he said, “I don’t know what to do. My wife has cancer, and I’m scared. I don’t know how I’m going to make it through this. Please help me.”
He opened his eyes and looked around the room. He saw a Bible on the table next to him. He picked it up and opened it to Romans 8:37. “You are more than a conqueror through my love in Jesus Christ.”
He read the verse again. He thought about what it meant. He realized that even though he was going through a difficult time, God was still with him. He loved him, and he would never leave him.
He smiled. He knew that he would be okay. He had God on his side.
The next day, he went to the hospital with his wife. They met with the doctor, who explained the treatment options. The young man was scared, but he knew that he had to be strong for his wife.
They started treatment immediately. It was difficult, but the young man and his wife were determined to fight. They prayed together every day, and they never gave up hope.
After several months of treatment, the young woman’s cancer went into remission. The young man was overjoyed. He knew that it was God who had healed her.
The young man and his wife were grateful for God’s love and mercy. They never forgot the verse in Romans 8:37. It was a reminder that no matter what they faced, God would always be with them. He would help them to overcome any obstacle.
They were more than conquerors through Him who loved them.
” In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
