A young woman was pacing back and forth in her living room, shaking. She had made a mistake, a big one. She had stolen money from her employer, and she knew that she would be caught. She was so ashamed of herself. She didn’t know what to do.
She decided to pray. She prayed to God for forgiveness. She prayed for mercy and grace.
As she prayed, she felt a sense of peace come over her. She felt God’s presence with her. She knew that He was listening to her prayer.
Suddenly, she saw a bright light in the corner of her room. She looked closer, and she saw that it was an angel.
The angel was beautiful. It had long, flowing hair and large, golden wings. The angel spoke to her in a soft voice.
“Do not be afraid,” the angel said. “I am here to help you.”
The young woman was so surprised. She had never seen an angel before.
“How can you help me?” she asked.
“I can help you to find mercy and grace,” the angel said. “I can help you to forgive yourself and to start over.”
The young woman was so grateful. She had been feeling so guilty and ashamed, but now she knew that she could find forgiveness.
“Thank you,” she said to the angel.
The angel smiled. “You are welcome,” the angel said. “Now, go and live your life to the fullest. God loves you, and He has forgiven you.”
The angel disappeared, and the young woman was left alone. She felt a sense of peace and hope. She knew that she could start over, and she knew that God would be with her every step of the way.
The young woman went to her employer and confessed what she had done. Her employer was understanding, and she was allowed to keep her job.
The young woman was so grateful. She knew that she would never steal again. She knew that she would live her life for God and for others.
The young woman went on to live a long and happy life. She was a kind and generous person, and she always helped those in need. She was a shining example of God’s love and grace.
The Bible says, “Come boldly to My throne when you need to find mercy and grace.” (Hebrews 4:16) This verse is a promise from God that we can come to Him for forgiveness and help. We don’t have to be perfect. We don’t have to earn His love. We can come to Him as we are, and He will welcome us with open arms.
If you are struggling with sin or guilt, don’t be afraid to come to God. He is waiting for you with His arms wide open. He will forgive you and give you the grace and mercy you need to start over.
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:16
