83 – Mist

A young woman, named Eva, was sitting in church when she heard this verse for the first time. She had been struggling with her faith for a long time, and she was feeling lost and alone. But when she heard this verse, she felt like God was speaking directly to her.

Eva had always been a good person. She went to church every week, she volunteered at the soup kitchen, and she always tried to help others. But she still felt like she wasn’t good enough. She felt like she was always falling short of God’s expectations.

But when she heard this verse, she realized that God didn’t see her the way she saw herself. God didn’t see her as a failure. God saw her as a beloved child. God saw her as someone who was forgiven and redeemed.

Eva’s heart was filled with joy. She knew that she was loved by God, and that was all that mattered. She no longer felt lost or alone. She knew that she was on the right path, and that God would always be with her.

Eva’s story is an inspiration to us all. It shows us that no matter how far we have strayed, God is always there for us. He is always waiting for us to come home. He is always ready to forgive us and to start over.

If you are struggling with your faith, I encourage you to read Isaiah 44:22. Let God’s words fill you with hope and joy. Let them remind you that you are loved and forgiven. And let them give you the strength to keep going.

“I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.”

Isaiah 44:22
